I am learning to find information about an extra-ordinary person and write that information into my own words.

I am so proud of being able to put the information into my own words.

It can be tricky to find lots of information about my extra-ordinary person.

The next step for me might be to find more information about another person.

Compare and Contrast

This is a venn diagram of Little Red Riding Hood.  We had to watch the story and write down the differences and similarities between the old and the modern version.  I found this easy but I could have added more detail to my venn diagram.

I have learnt to use pictures to give detailed predictions about the story.

I liked that I put detail into my prediction by describing the dog and the way he looked.

My Reflection

I.A.L.T link both implicit and explicit ideas in the text to give a greater understanding of the story.

I found this piece of work easy because I had a good idea of what implicit  and explicit information.
My next step is to try something more tricky.

My Reading Reflection

I have been learning to find information and summarise in a non-fiction text.  My reading group read a book about white - tail spiders.  We created a slide show about what we have learnt.  I found it easy to find information in google  because I could just put research on the side of my work.  One thing I did well was writing my work in my own words.  Next time I need to work on writing down the main bit and not all the information.
